Emily Ball in Orlando 2026

Emily Ball, acclaimed painter and educator from the United Kingdom, will be returning to Orlando in January 2026 to offer two exciting learning experiences:

• Embellishment: Drawing & Painting the Costumed Figure: For the first time in the US, you are invited to a 3-day immersive experience of drawing and painting the clothed figure, with Emily’s daughter Eve as the costume designer and model. The course is inspired by classic sihouettes, fabrics and frills with a unique contemporary twist. Emily brings her creative approach to capturing the figure in motion.  You will experiment, play, and discover how the language of paint takes us beyond observation to deeper expression. • Master Class: Do you need protected time and space to focus on a creative project? Are you feeling restless or stuck in your painting practice? Would being mentored in a creative atmosphere with other committed artists feel like a gift? This 5-day intensive is for you! Emily will help you move your painting process or project forward with a mix of group instruction and one-on-one interactions. It is a unique opportunity to be guided and prompted as you dive deep into your own artwork and explore ways of working — all designed to sharpen your focus and expand your vision. January 21-25, 2026.
