McRae Art Studios, a collective of 22 artists working in a reclaimed industrial building in Orlando’s emerging Arts District, is our host facility for this workshop. Both Debbie and Brian Miller and Lynn and John Whipple are Member Artists at McRae, and they are excited to introduce you to the creative energy of this teaching space.

McRae Art Studios shares the space in the Arlington Arts Building with Art Reach, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing creative education and opportunities to area youths and families.

The Studios are conveniently located near the Central Business District of Orlando and the towns of College Park and Winter Park.

If you are travelling to the workshop(s) via air, nearby airports include Sanford/Daytona Beach (Allegiant flights) and Orlando International Airport (major carriers).

Please do NOT book at any motels very close to McRae Art Studios. These facilities do not seem like safe/acceptable places to stay, even though they are close.

We recommend that you look at places in the Central Business District (downtown Orlando) or Winter Park or College Park, which are all within a reasonable driving or Uber/Lyft distance from the McRae Art Studios location.

If you prefer to book an Airbnb or Vrbo accommodation, there are lots of great options, but read reviews and look at pictures and a map, if possible, to make sure that you feel comfortable.

Also…if you aren’t familiar with Orlando, please know that hotels close to the theme parks are not going to be very convenient to the McRae Art Studios location.
