As our world is starting to open up again, Debbie (@debbierosemiller) and Brian Miller (@brianmillerart) want to invite you to participate in a fun summer creative challenge!

Starting June 20th — which is Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere — please join us as we launch the #30midsummer Creative Challenge. We are setting a goal of 30 pieces of art (any size, style or medium) that relate to summer over a 5-week period from June 20th to July 24th.

Do as much or as little as feels right for you. No pressure. We are just providing an invitation to get inspired and creative with people around the globe over the next few weeks.

For our Southern Hemisphere friends, we know you are entering winter season, but this will give you a chance to remember the joys of summertime!

Here’s how to participate:

• Check our Instagram feed weekly on Sunday for the theme of the week

• Create art related to that theme (or the summer theme of your choice)

• Post on Instagram using the #30midsummer hashtag

• Follow the #30midsummer hashtag to follow along and see what others are creating

• If you want more inspiration, click the “Join Us” link below to sign up for our free supporting content. In this “class,” you can find daily painting prompts, reference photos, and bonus materials, such as weekly playlists, to get you moving in your studio space.
